You will be picked up from Arusha by your professional driver-guide and begin your safari adventure with a drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Expect to see vast herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a variety of antelope species. The park is also home to rare species such as the Greater Kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, and Ashy Starling, making it a rewarding destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and bird lovers. After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing along the way. Each day includes extensive game drives with packed lunches, allowing you to maximize time in the park. Your guide will tailor routes to increase your chances of spotting the Big Five and, depending on the season, the Great Wildebeest Migration. After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti as you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. This vast volcanic caldera hosts over 120 species of mammals, including the Big Five. It is one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhinoceros, alongside large populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a half-day game drive inside the crater before ascending and driving back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off for your onward journey.
